Congratulations, Supervisor Wilensky

   To our shock and amazement, Supervisor Wilensky actually said something very important and worthwhile; something we at the Sentinel have been saying for a long time.

   At the end of the Consent Agenda he remarked that someone needs to reassess what items are actually non-controversial differently than is done now.

   This was after an hour and a half of debate and controversy over those items that were put on this Board of Supervisors Consent Agenda December 11, 2012.

   Nearly a year ago, we wrote to Chair Tofanelli that we felt he is the Chair and should therefore take responsibility for more carefully discern these items before they are placed on either agenda.

   Congratulations Mr. Wilensky. We finally agree with you on a very important issue to the voters. Not likely that anyone will listen, but you are right about the problem.
