Vehicle Hits Pedestrian in West Point

  UPDATE at 7:12 PM: Emergency vehicles are leaving the area and the road should be clear.
 
[UPDATE at 6:50 PM  A 2nd CHP unit has arrived at the scene to assist.


    UPDATE at 6:30 PM::   CHP is now reporting that major injuries are involved in this accident.

    CHP is in the process of handling a traffic accident near the corner of Hwy 26 and Main in West Point that occurred before 6 PM.

   Reportedly a vehicle hit a pedestrian. An ambulance is enroute to the scene.

   Use extra caution in that area.
