Brown wants to drain wetlands

In order for Governor Brown to gather enough water in the tunnels to send to his friends in Los Angeles, he will need to drain a large portion of the
glorious wetlands in the Delta. Many of the herons will most likely become extinct.

I'm sure he sees this as an absolute necessity, since Southern California depends on Northern California for its water needs.

Nationwide, the US lost more than 360,000 acres of fresh and saltwater wetlands in the past four years.  Wetlands held buffer sea surges, to say nothing of giving a protected environment for hundreds of species of wetlands birds and animals.
