Have you heard about California becoming 6 states?

A man named Tim Draper, who is an investor, has decided to promote breaking California up into 6 states. Calaveras County would be in the state of Central California under the proposal.

Draper and his supporters feel that the people who live in the top half of California are not fairly represented.  He's trying to get 3 more Republican governors and other representatives. This could mean he will be trying to get signatures to put it on the ballot.

Yeah, Amador, Calaveras, Toulumne and Mariposa would be one state. Callaway or Spellman can run for Governor.

Four financially troubled counties, one, new, financially troubled state.
What will that mean? Higher assessments, fees, surcharges and taxes.
Who takes over the court system?
