Calaveras Fish and Game are killers??

At the Calaveras Board of Supervisors meeting on January 12, 2016 the Calaveras Fish and Game Commission (Supervisor appointees) and led by Bill Magladry
of Valley Springs, filed an annual written report; the first one we have EVER seen.

Chris Wright, who is the Calaveras Supervisor representative (and avid hunter), refused to read it or comment on it, only saying he thought it was a "good report".

Wright was one of the Supervisors angry when Governor Brown and the state legislature banned hunting down black bears with hounds.

Earlier in the year the California State Fish and Wildlife rep had informed us that when they must trap an animal, such as a bear, they relocate it far away from the area where it was trapped.

However, in this report, the Fish and Game Commission happily reported (our opinion) that they were able to trap and kill 8 or 9 bears in Calaveras County during 2015.  That is why they did not want it read aloud.

Does that mean that the State rep LIED or does it reflect their anger over not being able to torture more bears with hounding them??

Knowing some of the Fish and Wildlife reps, we can understand their joy in torturing these animals as much as possible.   What a shame that these type of people are allowed to work for any animal or wildlife organization!

And due to his comment, perhaps it is better that Mr. Wright was not given the Chair for 2016.
