Measles in Amador County

   If you and your children have been vaccinated for Measles, you have nothing to worry about.  One new case has been reported in Amador County.

   However, if you are one of those who doesn't believe or has neglected getting your children vaccinated, you may be concerned.

   In Jackson, a young child was at Strings Italian Restaurant in the evening of March 23, 2016. the disease is an airborne one. 

    Amador County Health department asked that you contact them if you were at the restaurant during that time. They have since disinfected the building.
