The homeless man who was talked into conspiring with a couple to start a GoFundMe
scam account, was sentenced to probation yesterday.
He must testify against the couple who started the fake account. They face serious prison time. GoFundMe has refunded all of the donations.
Be careful who you donate to. There are many scammers and lazy thieves and greedy people out there, many claiming to be totally honest.
