Fire engine overturns

  UPDATE:  Hwy 49 was closed for recovery and clean-up.  It is now reopened.    

September 4, 2025 @ 11 AM:  Cal fire reports that one of its engines has

overturned during operations on the TCU September Lightning Complex fire at Hwy 49 and Frogtown Road.

   One injured firefighter was taken to the hospital. No other persons were injured.  An investigation is in progess.

   No other details are available at this time.
