  The Mother Lode Wildlife Center reports that they took in many screech owls this year, nineteen as of December 13, 2018.

Arrest for threats in Burson

  On January 1, 2019 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Adam Brent Longpamintuan (23) of Stockton on Wade Lane in Burson.

   Langpanimtuan was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly Threatening a Crime with Intent to Terrorize, a felony.
