UPDATE: How many people, newspapers, etc. has Darren Spellman threatened to sue?
UPDATE: We just discovered that Spellman sent this press release HIMSELF! How screwy do you have to be to write your own promotions? Hard to believe? Believe it!
Today, the Sentinel received an anonymous press release from Darren Spellmans' campaign committee. Because he has nothing to do
for two to three weeks each month, Spellman drove to Sacramento and with a very few others in the audience, watched the California State Fire Board vote to make the new $150 tax permanent.
Spellman, who rumors tell us, may be running for President in 2016, is trying to get his name in the news, and sat where he knew the camera would pick him up.
He has absolutely no influence with Sacramento legislators or their appointed boards, but soooo wants to be famous.
This man needs to get a job! What a waste of our tax money and time! Is Rancho Calaveras going to allow him to pretend to be important?
Yes, this man is worse than Wilensky, the "mouth of all time"!

Oh, HO, HO, HO! It figures!
So true. So true. Is he already campaigning for President? I can always use a good laugh!
With the approval of the supervisors he went to express the removal of the fire tax. What's wrong with that? Those people in Sacramento had their mind made up before hand.
Thank you, Supervisor Spellman. I'm just glad you didn't take an illegal quorum with you. That would've meant you would have 3 alleged misdemeanors instead of two.
He's determined to be famous. He'll do anything to do that.
