During the past 2 years, Supervisor Spellman has repeatedly put himself in the spotlight and very seldom ever for anything good.
Whether it was wearing hipboots on his first day in office, or personally insulting other higher elected officials in order to run for their office, making outrageous statements or his hatred (or fear) of wild animals, he has embarrassed the office over and over again.
After Spellman followed his course of using people close to him to gain information and then trying to hurt other people to make himself look better, we are taking a stand.
Someone stable needs to run for District 5 Supervisor in that area. That area needs a moderate with a sense of caring for the constituents, and not just his tea party friends.
Will someone without mental problems step up and help District 5 in the next election? It's not that far off.
We are expecting that Supervisor Spellman will now try to hurt us in some way here at the Sentinel, because he is all about getting even. He's even still trying to hurt the school district that fired him.
Spellman for Dog Catcher. We don't think so!
We now realize why that must have happened!

He should go. He committed criminal acts, twice violating the Brown Act, two misdemeanors, $1000.00 and or 6 months in jail each count.
Everybody thinks he's totally crazy. i think he helped oller lose bigtime. it's about time you noticed, sierra sentinel.
Watch yourselves, SS, there's no limit to what he will do to get re-elected or anything else he wants.This is not a stable man.

I know he's the worst Supervisor i've ever seen. he can wear a suit and tie, but can't think straight.

Spellman hasn't got a chance of getting re-elected. He's going to have to go job-hunting again and again and again.

Al Segalla does not support anyone, due to his affiliation with CCTA. He understands ethics.
I don't remember Tonja Dausend supporting Spellman. I remember Racz's supporting David Singer or Spellman to remove Thomas.
Don't any of you talk to your district supervisor? Oops, most, 3 out of 5 supervisors, won't be bothered, unless you're a good ole' boy or a campaign contributor. That's Calaveras, as I've been told.
His tea party friends like him the way he is, insulting to women, vitriole e-mails, and all the rest. We all need to stand up to them and throw him out of office.
What kind of people will support him now. Does his church encourage slurs of women? Who will be his political support now that everyone knows about him. Pay attention, voters.
If this guy had any honor in him he would resign because of this. My bet is he will continue because he just doesn't care what he does to anyone.
I would enjoy watching him chase stray dogs in his monkey suit. Will he be shooting them or calling his TP friends to shoot them for him?
His fall from grace is sad. He started out with promise....but someone is misadvising him and will pay a might price for that.
Should Spellman become dogcatcher, a part of his contract, he cannot eat the dogs he catches.
