"The apple is in the pie", or "the cider is in the cask", or whatever the saying should be that's fitting for an apple farmer's
last month in office.
It does seem that Supervisor Wilesnky's "shine" has been rubbed away as he was unable to get a resolution passed that he had the county employees working on for months, or maybe years. (at the taxpayers expense, of course)
His confidence about the DUIRR (the bounty for turning in drunk drivers) was high as he presented it as all good "fruit pickers" do.
Then, as one by one, each of the other three present (Callaway was absent) refused to support it, you could see he was upset, "right down to his core."
Two more meetings for him and he's out. He got his retirement like he wanted, and now his main job will be to tell Chris W. what to do. And we understand Chris W. needs the help.

Of all the Supervisors, Wilensky has done the most of any supervisor regarding FEMA in his district. That said, does not forgive him of the other "stuff".
