Crops get 80% of all water in California

If Calaveras County doesn't demand and secure it's water rights, we will lose them! Last year, UPUD refused to accept another offer of allocation. Why?

In his speech last week Governor Brown made it clear that he will NOT make the corporate farmers use less water like the rest of us.

Did you know that 80% of allocated surface water is promised to these farmers; not just for fruits and veggies for California residents, but to ship all over the world. To make billions of dollars!

In fact, it turns out that the government has promised about 9 times more water to these ag districts that is available in a normal year, much less a drought year.

Brown also exempted fracking.
It is criminal to allow fracking after 3+ aquifers have been polluted from fracking in Kings county.
