Supervisor Oliveira learns about Transit--finally!!

At the April 28, 2015 Calaveras Supervisors/Angels Camp joint session Study Session on Calaveras Transit, Mr. Oliveira finally seemed to get it into his brain that public transit is
a subsidized service from the Federal Government and not something that comes directly from local citizens pockets. It's about time!!

If he had been living and participating in the government in Calaveras instead of living in the Bay Area and not paying attention, he would not have wasted all this time.  COG has been handling the Transit just fine. All elected officials do is bring their personal issues into the politics, which helps nothing.

For some reason, it seemed he thought the million dollars a year could be spent on fixing roads instead. Not true!

No matter where the money comes from it still comes from the tax paying citizens of the US of A.
It would be great to peel back the onion and see how the parent company
ParaTransit utilizes their funds.
No matter how it is cut Calaveras Transit is a "dog that doesn't hunt"
