As we have seen lately, Bernie Sanders, a self-proclaimed Socialist, has gained in popularity due to the young voters, mostly due to the Great Recession.
The millennials, who virtually grew up since December of '07, watched their parents struggle to keep a job, lose their investments and even their homes. Therefore Democratic Socialism looks good to them and crony Capitalism. bad.
