After many months of pussyfooting around, afraid to upset the firefighters who tried to battle a hopeless cause, the public is speaking out more and more.
One man who stated he was burned out like it was a "Terrorist Attack"
asked over and over again at the Calaveras Supervisors meeting on January 26, 2016, "WHERE WAS THE AIR SUPPORT".
What was CalFire doing??? It's past time that the truth came out. And who is responsible for all the bad decisions made at that time? Supervisor ((Freaky Pastor) Edson!!
So, WHERE WAS THE AIR SUPPORT?? Why hasn't Calfire learned HOW to fight fires. Who will ever teach them. Instead they blame the trees, the wildlife, the bushes. Where are their mirrors???

It's about time, is right. Eveyone is afraid Cal Fire won't come to a fire near them is they complain. That's a fact.
I was at the meeting. When are the rest of the burned out going to start telling the truth. I congratulate him. Edson the god, didn't like it.
Cal Fire learned from the Old Gulch fire to call out ALL the heavy resources immediately - many of those men are now retired - SO hopefully this new group has learned a lesson from the Butte fire - to call out ALL resources immediately, not presume the "smoke doesn't look that bad/big"! They cannot wait until a later time to see "what it is going to do" - that is obviously way too late!!
So, they learn how to fight a fire AFTER my house is destroyed. I'll never feel the same about CalFire; and what's worse is that they are blaming the bushes and trees instead of taking the blame themselves. I still get sick to my stomach.
