UPDATE: Roadway is now clear.
February 8, 2019 at 8:30 AM: Careful if you are coming up Hwy 4 above Avery this
morning, as an older pickup is partially pulled off the roadway.
A tow truck was at the scene trying to direct traffic by himself, but apparently a towel in the driver side door only partially hid an angry dog that had been left inside the truck.
A deputy was called to take the dog to the county shelter so the truck could be towed away.
