According to CHP on August 29, 2020 around 11:30 AM a motorcycle collision was reported
on Hwy 26 at Sport Hill Road in Mokelumne Hill.CHP arrived to find a deceased male motorcycle rider. Patrick Rueda (50) of Stockton was riding his 2015 Honda at an unknown speed and failed to make a corner and overturned, and was ejected.
Rueda was pronounced dead at the scene by the Calaveras Coroner. This collision is still under investigation and it is not yet known if drugs and or alcohol were a factor.
