UPDATE: Fire got to be only 1/4 acre before fire crews stopped it. Under control now.
September 8, 2023 at 2:45 PM: A car fire has been reported as now into the grass on Covington Road new Columbia Crest Road in Sonora.
Several engines, aircraft, dozers and water tenders are responding to the scene
