Calfire reports that they have recently had to respond to 4 different debris burns that escaped into a wildland fire.
Two on November 11, 2023, were in Tuolumne County, had no proper clearance, and were issued citations. The other two, on November 12, 2023, were in Copperopolis and Rancho Calaveras, also without clearance and oversized piles.
