Fire reported in Angels Camp

    UPDATE:  Forward progress stopped. Beginning

mopup of fire.

UPDATE:  First report is that a homeless encampment is on fire. Looking

for access.  Attempting to get it over the fence behind Save Mart.

     May 5, 2025 at 11:25 AM:  A vegetation fire has been reported at Hwy 49 and Main Street in Angels Camp.

   Several engines are responding to the scene.
