January 22, 2026 at 1:15 PM: An overturned dump truck has been reported on
Hwy 49 near Big Bar Road outside Mokelumne Hill.The fire department was dispatched because the truck caught fire. Major injuries have been indicated. The roadway is closed to recover the truck.
Three CHP are currently at the scene.
