Injured deer on Hwy 4
September 2, 2015 at 8:30 AM: An injured deer has been reported on Hwy 4 near Arnold Byway in Arnold.CHP notified Caltrans to remove it. Sad, but true; they simply kill them if they don't die before Caltrans arrives. Slow down and use deer warning whistles (around $10) on the front bumpers.

September 1, 2015 at 5:30 PM: A white Ford sedan has run off Hwy 12 and into a fence near Burson Road in the Burson area.

Fire in Copperopolis
On August 31, 2015 at around 5:10 PM Cal Fire was called to a house fire on Sequoia Court in Copperopolis.
The cause of the fire was undetermined, but there was damage to the front porch and one bedroom, plus contents, and was estimated at $20,000 in value
