September 2, 2015 at 8:30 AM: An injured deer has been reported on Hwy 4 near Arnold Byway in Arnold.CHP notified Caltrans to remove it. Sad, but true; they simply kill them if they don't die before Caltrans arrives. Slow down and use deer warning whistles (around $10) on the front bumpers.
They work!
