Nationwide protests and calls for Impeachment

     Week after week, Trump keeps digging himself deeper into a rathole.  This weeks attack on Joe and Mika of Morning Joe resonated across the country.

   Signs saying "Dump the Chump, Trump!"  were among the many calling for removal of this President!  After watching a Nixon special, we can see so many similarities between the two men, as their investigations move toward likely impeachment.

Motorcycle crash on Hwy 49

   July 2, 2017 at 3 PM:  A motorcycle has crashed and is now 50' off Hwy 49 in the 13 curves area  outside Mokelumne Hill.

   CHP, an ambulance and tow truck are responding to the scene. Be cautious if headed that way.
 Traffic is blocked.

Injured deer--Driver not using warning whistles???

   July 2, 2017 at 6:45 AM:  An injured deer is still lying on Camanche Parkway after being reported over an hour ago.

   If the driver had warning whistles on the front of his car, this suffering may have well be avoided. They cost less than $10. No CHP has yet shown up to shoot it dead!

Collision in Campo Seco

    July 2, 2017 at 6:25 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Chile Camp Road at Campo Seco Road in Campo Seco.

    CHP is en route to the scene. No injuries have been indicated.

LLamas on Hwy 49

   July 2, 2017 at 6:15 AM:  Two llamas have been reported on Hwy 49 near Lombardi Road in Mokelumne Hill.

   Be cautious until CHP can get on scene and the owner is located.

SF Giants in Pittsburgh

   The San Francisco Giants are in Pittsburgh today to play the Pirates.

   Giants are at 32 wins and 51 losses so far for the year.

Grass Fire on Hwy 12

   July 1, 2017 at 2:15 PM:  A grass fire has been reported on Hwy 12 at Central Hill Road outside San Andreas.

   Fire personnel are responding.  The smoke can apparently be seen from Mokelumne Hill.

Fire alarm at Columbia Restaurant

   July 1, 2017 at 1:30 PM:  A fire alarm has sounded at the Columbia House Restaurant on Main Street in Columbia.

   Fire personnel are responding to the scene. 

SKIP the Fireworks!!!

   Happy 4th of July weekend!   Why don't we all just SKIP the Fireworks and celebrate with a BBQ?

   This morning, Hwy 4 will shut down for the 4th of July Parade.  There is also a pancake breakfast and booths will all sorts of goodies for sale.
