Letter to Editor - Steve Wilensky Is Right This Time!

Dear New Online Sierra Sentinel:
Love your new site!  This letter is about Steve Wilensky. And it's not a nasty one. I don't like his politics and the mouthy way he pushes his weight around, but he did something right at the last Board of Supervisors meeting.
During the discussion about renewing the the 10 year old regional water board agreement, brought out a true fact. That is that we do need to work regionally to preserve our water rights, since the little fractious bunch of water districts in Calaveras County would rather pick and fight with each other while we are getting "fleeced" and "panced" by the big water interests.
I don't like to admit that he does anything right, since he a Callaway and Tryon have been instrumental in destroying the economy in our County, but Wilensky is right about this one. Petty little bickering to downright all out wars between the tiny little water districts, which I think should be forced into one big one, makes it totally necessary for bigger organizations to help us save our water rights for future generations.
Just don't count on too many kudos from me, Steve.
