New kidneys, ears and finger bones are among the body parts being grown at Wake Forest University's Institute for Regenerative Medicine.Laboratories across the United States are working to literally make the blind see and the lame walk again. They're perfecting spray-on skin and to mass-produce new body parts using bioprinters based on the jet printers attached to your home computer.
