CHP is attempting to get a crew to remove a 4 foot thick tree from Lime Kiln Rd and Algerine Wards Ferry Rd in Sonora.
First reported at 6:55 PM on September 30, 2012, and blocking one lane of Lime Kiln Rd, Tuolumne County road department is dispatching a crew to handle that large a tree for removal.
Use extra caution if driving in that area until cleared. At 7:55 PM no crew has yet arrived.
