CHP is on scene with an injured deer that was hit by a vehicle at 8 AM on September 28, 2012. Use extra caution if driving in that area of Tuolumne County until the road is clear.
Drivers need to be ever more cautious this time of the year, when the deer are running down from the mountains, away from the killers waiting there with guns.
They do not understand cars and trucks and the only way they have a chance is if we keep a watchful eye out for them.
Yes, they have a right to live, too!!!
