We can't remember when we have ever seen this many lawsuits and probable lawsuits on the Calaveras County Supervisors agenda under closed session as we have now. A total of 13 for this coming meeting alone.
As we count them, there are 8 just from the Trinitas Golf Course, and we already know that they have refused to tell us how much they have spent.
We do know that it has to be in excess of $500,000 for that one alone. All to help their environmental friends who hate golf courses. (total jealousy?)
And on the next agenda, September 25, 2012, there are 5 others listed, including one against Calaveras Public Utility District, the San Andreas water district.
What is the matter with these Supervisors that they can't get along and settle things without spending a pile of taxpayer money?
