August 5, 2014 at 7 AM: The Day Fire, located near the town of Day in Modoc County is now 13,047 and 65% contained. The rain is assisting firefighters with all the fires in Northern California.
5 homes and an outbuilding have been destroyed. The evacuation for Lookout Ranchettes has been lifted.
