Letter to the Editor: About the animals

  Dear Sierra Sentinel Editor:

My wife and I read this website every day for political info, but why aren't you writing about the poor animals trying to survive with little water or natural food.

I'm talking about the wildlife, from Bear Valley to Camanche and Copper.  We live in the Dorrington area, and have seen a small bear cub without a mother, deer that look in terrible shape, and all kinds of other wild animals that we don't usually see close to homes.

I suppose that Fish and Game will encourage the hunters to go kill them all, as a favor to them, since they can't live long without suffering the effects of drought.

Just thinking about that makes me mad. Please write something to try and help the creatures we live here to enjoy, not be the victims of the drought.

   Thank you,

     M and B
