Clear-cuts by SPI

This photo is from the Forest Watch website. The new clear-cuts look
just like these. Enough to make a grown man cry.

A picture is worth 1,000 words. This is alarming. How do we fight this?

We don't. Clearcutting is a valid sivicultural method. Especially when a stand of trees has been selectively harvested a few times. Remember, California has the toughest forest practice regulations in the country. Also remember, that these clear cuts are replanted. And, this is private land!

We don't ?? This has got to stop. I'll bet these last two fires are related to these clear cuts, too. Cut all the trees and there are no trees; no trees and there is no rain and especially snow. Global warming everywhere they are allowed to do it. I can't do anything I want on MY private land. Why should you?

Are you kidding> the group that approves these clear cuts are reps from logging concerns and spi type foresters, not regular folks.
