UPDATE on September 26, 2014: This accident has been changed to a Major Injury Accident.
UPDATE at 3:35 PM: Driver transported to hospital with moderate injuries. Tow required for fully dressed Harley Davidson and two passengers to Carson City.
UPDATE at 2:30 PM: The trailer of this big rig is basically in pieces and debris now. The fertilizer is mixed in with the wrecked trailers. The roadway is now clear.
September 25, 2014 at 1:30 PM: A big rig has overturned on Hwy 88 at Silver Drive after losing its brakes and running off the road. Another vehicle was also involved.
This is near Silver Lake. The driver is trapped and there is a fire in the braking system.
CHP, an ambulance and fire are en route as a small vegetation fire has started near the wreck. A big rig tow has been dispatched.
