Yesterday on KVIE, they ran a special on the life of John Denver, who wrote and sang songs about the Rockies, among many other popular songs, and died in a plane crash in the Bay Area. If you get a chance, you should watch it.The interesting portion of the special was that before he went out on his own, he sang with a group called the Chad Mitchell Trio, who appeared on college campuses, singing songs that made fun of the KKK and other socially and politically relevant songs.
