On August 10, 2015 while at Kaiser Hospital Santa Clara for chronic liver disease, Cara Concetta Alfinito Lipp passed away.Born July 16, 1954 to Rudolph Arthur Alfinito and Clara Marie Bratton Alfinito at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, she lived in Los Altos until moving to Santa Cruz to finish High School and attend Cabrillo College.
A long time resident of Lompico, Cara cherished the peaceful woodlands and the majestic redwood grove she called home. She loved to garden and the resident wildlife of Lompico. Cara also loved donating her time working for the animal shelter in Scotts Valley.
Cara is survived by her father Rudolph, sisters Paula and Tina, nieces Shawnee, Angelina and Giuliana Alfinito, Shanon Roddewig, Sheilah Bufus and Colleen Rasmussen.
Services will be held at Angels Memorial Chapel in Angels Camp on Monday August 17, 2015 at 1 PM.
Please make any donations on Cara's behalf to your local Humane Society animal shelter.
