UPDATE: CHP now indicates injuries are minor in this collision because it was more of a sideswipe than a direct head-on. Avoid the area while CHP clears the roadway, if possible.
August 30, 2015 at 1:45 PM: A head-on crash has been reported involving a blue BMW and some type of Ford sports vehicle on Hwy 4 near Milton Road, below Copperopolis.
Emergency personnel, including an ambulance are en route to the scene. Be extra cautious if in the area.
