Grass Fire in Mokelumne Hill

   UPDATE:  Cal Fire crew contained this fire almost immediately. It is not now a threat to homes in the area. Other engines have been cancelled.

   UPDATE:  Bulldozers and the Vallecito work crew has also been dispatched to this fire. It has been named the Lombardi IC.


  August 10, 2015 at 9:30 AM:  A grass fire has been reported on Hwy 49 at Lombardi Drive in Mokelumne Hill.

   Cal Fire has dispatched multiple engines to the scene. Use caution if driving through that area.
