Mad River Complex Fires update

   As of this morning August 12, 2015 the USFS reports that 20,525 acres have now been burned in the Mad River Complex Fires in Trinity County and that 40% of the perimeter is contained.

   As you can see by the map, Ruth Lake is surrounded by the fires, which were lightning strikes.
