OP-ED -- The post Katrina massacre by New Orleans Police--the worst of the worstl

Yesterday, I was reading a story in a national publication on the post Katrina massacre of unarmed blacks on the Danziger Bridge on September 4, 2005, nearly 10 years ago now.

It wasn't the fact that these were dirty cops who were taking out their racial hatred on those less fortunate that got to me. We see that far too often in America.

It wasn't even the fact that officers actually stomped on the wounded while waiting for ambulances. Racism festers and makes madmen out of those who are weak and mentally unstable.

And it wasn't the horror that they lied, made up stories and filed false reports to try to keep from getting into trouble for the murders that hits you in the gut.  We see this all the time!

It was the fact that others in the New Orleans Police Department, after knowing it was a massacres; a murder of unarmed poor blacks, agreed to continue the dirty cover-up.

Even Lieutenants, who later admitted they went along, wrote false statements and felt no guilt on covering up for murder; at least until the photos began showing up.

Then there are the photos of the 6 cops being led into the courtroom, who were surrounded and supported by their fellow officers; as if honoring the alleged murderers! They were practically hugging and kissing them!

It's enough to make an honest person VOMIT!!

In case you think this is unusual, cops supporting bad cops, think again. All the time, we see false statements written by police officers, either to cover for another cop who screwed up, or to keep from getting in trouble themselves.

In fact, it seems that these problems go all the way to the top. If you in any way cover for, write up anything false, or defend a dirty cop; you are also a DIRTY COP!!

And you will be a dirty cop as long as you live; actually as long as anyone wants to bring it up, even after you are dead.

Once you are a DIRTY COP, you are forever a DIRTY COP and a shame on your family name!!! The worst of the worst!!
