UPDATE at 9:15 AM: Injuries were minor in this collision. PG&E has been advised that there is a damaged electric pole.
August 5, 2015 at 9:05 AM: A Volvo and a Saturn collided and one ended up in the canal at Shaffer and Mercedes in Winton.
Fire personnel rescued those in the canal. One in the other car has a head injury. An ambulance is en route to the scene.
