We have had a lot of comments regarding whether or not Mr. Maurer took it upon himself to skip any environment review of the ASPHALT plant, or if Mr. Kearney requested it.
Today, we sent him an email,
asking this and other questions we have, but we know that it wasn't until AFTER Colleen Platt made the plant public that ANY environmental information was ever requested and sent to the county.
We also are aware that Mr. Kearney has admitted to trying to 'streamline' the process for his friend, Mr. Ford, who does NOT even live in Calaveras County. How secret can one project be???
It is unlikely that any department head would admit wrongdoing; nor would they report that a Supervisor had done something wrong.
They hire him and they can fire him, as one person commented earlier.
