Letter to the Editor: Women need to get "Nasty"

   Dear Sierra Sentinel:

Please don't use my name.  I am a 60 year old woman who knows well what these women who have come forward have gone through. It's time to be
"nasty"!!

When I was younger, I worked for a large corporation. My immediate manager made sexual advances and when I refused, it was prevented from promotions, and he told people I was 'crazy'.

I told no one because at that time, males were even more dominant in the workforce than they are now.

A woman STILL can't even make complaints to government or large utilities without being branded as 'crazy'. It's men's way of stopping any investigations or complaints about them.

I feel so sorry for those women and call them courageous heroes for coming out publicly. When will women stand up for each other.

Women need to get 'nasty' and tell men like Trump "We're mad as HELL, and we're not going to take it anymore!"

Myself, I had to change jobs to get away. Hopefully, with Hillary as President, we'll get some respect.  We certainly won't with that racist slime Trump.

No honorable man would treat any woman with less respect than they give their fellow males, but it is still happening in the US. and here in Calaveras County.

   Thank you Sentinel!!

OMG, you are so right. my mother taught me that women never should act in any way aggressively to men. Basically she taught me they are allowed to do anything. I've been a coward my whole life because of that. Thank you, Arnold res

I was taught to let men win at games even. This all needs to change.

That's part of the problem. Women often do not stick up for each other. We need to end male domination of the world and the world will be a better place. Thank you Hillary, for being willing to take on these creeps.

#Itsnotok, I work at pg&e. mags there often call women customers who complain crazy. Their upper bosses allow it.

Does everyone realize these are the Trump type of men?? And most of them are also racist as well as sexist low forms of life.

Truly, it is still "a man's world". Probably one reason some men are having a difficult time allowing themselves to accept the idea of a woman being our next President rather than a racist/sexist type male doing this most difficult job.

You women are right and as a male I've seen it the workplace and fully support your voices coming out.
