Letter to the Editor: Buying Chamber didn't work for Edson

    Dear Sierra Sentinel:

Good rainy day to write you a letter.  This is about Cliff Edson, who thought he could buy the Chamber of Commerce to campaign for him by giving them a free building.

Either the Chamber secretly hated Edson or they have no influence in the communities, because he lost big league (recognize that phrase?)  In other words, it didn't work.

Well, I'm glad and I will support Tofanelli unless he does something stupid. I think the Chamber will be happy to have him back, too!

You should have said: until he does something stupid AGAIN!
Such a short memory, Tofanelli violated the Brown Act on the Garcia raise, along with the other supervisors at the time. Now you vote for a corrupt politician, who you think will do right for you. Good luck!

Has anyone seen $100 bills in the tip jar at the restaurant? What's that all about?
