Stabbing in San Andreas park--Minor Laceration only!!

   According to the Calaveras Sheriff's Office a deputy responded to 345 St. Charles Street in San Andreas for a victim of a stabbing.

   Deputies learned that a 22 year old man from Mountain Ranch was allegedly trying to purchase marijuana a Turner Park in San Andreas when a physical altercation ensued.

   The unknown suspect stabbed the victim with an unknown instrument and left the park, according to the report.

   The victim walked from the park to a nearby business and asked for help. The citizen called 911 and the victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and was later released.

   The victim sustained a minor laceration to his back.  He only provided vague details about the incident to the investigators.

   The Sheriff's Office does not have a description of the suspect and is asking for anyone that has knowledge of the incident to contact the Sheriff at 754-6500.
