In the hearings about Russian and Trump an clan today, the fired DOJ Yates was asked by a Republican what she did not stand up for the President in the Muslim ban. She had refused to defend the Executive Order and it was rejected as unconstitutional by 3 courts.
She testified that when she was first in hearings to become confirmed that then Senator Jefferson Beauragard Sessions ranted at her, wanting to know if Obama gave an order that she felt was unconstitutional, would she say so. She said YES, but that now Sessions wants her to back Trump, regardless.
