Daniel Mantz (35) of Valley Springs had multiple outstanding warrants from Calaveras and Sacramento counties.
His passenger Angela Lindow (32) of Valley Springs was also found to have a misdemeanor
warrant issued in Calaveras County.
During a search of the vehicle deputies located a loaded .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, a .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun, ammunition for both, 100 syringes and a clear plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine.
Mantz was arrested and booked for the 6 alleged felony warrants plus new charges for the firearms and drugs discovered. Lindow was fined and released at the scene.
Mantz is in the Calaveras County Jail with a bail of $35,000. The investigation is ongoing.
