On April 10, 2019 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested Charles Defern Freer,
III (33) of San Andreas on West St. Charles Street.
Freer was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Willful Cruelty to a Child with Possible Injury or Death and Violation of Probation, both felonies, and for Battery of a Spouse, Vandalism, Disorderly Conduct due to Alcohol, misdemeanors.
