Air support has been canceled. They have gained control of the fire.
Per Calfire the car is totally engulfed in flames. So far it has not escaped into the wildland.
July 15, 2020 at 3:10 PM: A car fire has been reported on Hwy 4 in the Big Trees area.
Several engines are responding to the scene. The vehicle is blocking the roadway.
