According to CHP on December 25, 2022 around 6 PM a 60 year old Murphys man was driving
a 2021 Subaru Forester on Railroad Flat Road near Sierra Oaks Drive at an unknown speed.For an unknown reason the driver failed to follow a curve and his vehicle left the roadway, impacting a large tree.
Fire and Paramedic personell arrived and attempted life-saving measures on the driver, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
It is not known if drugs or alcohol contributed to this collision. The name is being withhelf pending notification of next of kin.
